In honor of our late president, Betty Bruquetas, this fund was established to further her goals and dreams of bringing peace among peoples and cultures. The proceeds of this fund will be given to our 2022 awardee in Betty’s honor. Our RPCVGCFL group has dedicated an annual Celebration of Service Award for the past five years, donating thousands of dollars raised from generous donations from our RPCVs and others to community groups that work with immigrants in our community, with drug abuse care centers, and with the African-American community of Newtown Sarasota.
